A short, honest privacy policy.
Effective August 8, 2026
This is my personal website. It collects very little, and none of it is ever sold. Here is exactly what happens with your information.
The contact form
If you send me a note, the form collects your name, email address, and message. Submissions are processed by Netlify (this site's host) and delivered to my email. I use them for one thing: replying to you. I don't add you to any list, and I don't share or sell the contents. Want a message deleted? Email me and it's gone.
Analytics
The site uses Google Analytics 4, which sets cookies so I can see which pages get read and roughly where visitors come from. Google processes this data under its privacy policy. If you'd rather not be counted, you can block cookies in your browser or use Google's opt-out add-on.
Embedded content
The home page embeds a Spotify podcast player. When it loads, Spotify may set its own cookies under Spotify's privacy policy.
Hosting
The site is hosted on Netlify, which keeps standard server logs (IP address, browser type) for security and operations, like every host on the internet.
Your choices
Email me at lukeericksonwork@gmail.com to ask what information I have about you or to have it deleted. California residents have these rights under the CCPA; I extend the same courtesy to everyone, resident or not.
Changes
If anything here changes, the update gets posted on this page with a new effective date.
